Show & Tell is coming
Hi! I’m Billy, and I’m building Show & Tell — an app for makers who want to capture their projects as they happen, not reconstruct them from blurry camera-roll photos three weeks later.
The idea is simple: every project is a series of steps. Each step can hold photos, video, audio notes, timings, and materials. Capture from a widget without breaking your flow, annotate photos with Apple Pencil, and when you’re done, export the whole journey as a video, GIF, web page, or PDF.
A few things I’m committed to:
- Privacy first. No accounts, no analytics, no servers of mine. Your projects sync through your own iCloud, and the App Store label will read “Data Not Collected.”
- Honest pricing. A generous free tier, a one-time purchase for hobbyists, and a subscription only for the folks who need unlimited everything.
- Offline always. Workshops don’t have great Wi-Fi. The app doesn’t care.
Show & Tell is in active development for iPhone and iPad, targeting iOS 18 and up. Follow along here — this page has an RSS feed — or check back for launch news.
