How it started, how it's going

Many, many years ago, there was an app where you would take a picture of yourself every day and you could use it to show your different outfits or how you’ve changed or whatever.

My wife and I tried it, and she suggested making an app like it but for projects. Take a picture of your craft each step of the way and show your progress.

This was back when I was a developer, see, and looking for apps to make.

So, I made a note of the idea, with every intention of coming back to it.

15 Years Later

I decided to see if I might enjoy being a developer again. So I dusted off my old list of ideas in OmniFocus, and found that one about the project photo app. Imagine my wife’s reaction when I told her I was finally going to build her idea! It was something like this:

“I don’t remember that at all.”

Classic.

Anyway, Show & Tell is that app. It lets you document your craft project, your room renovation, your dog grooming – anything you want to track step by step. It will be on the App Store soon (actual soon, not like 15 years soon). If that sounds like your kind of thing, I hope you’ll check it out.
